Tmr will be Lunar New Year eve. Yep, gonna have reunion dinner and stuff. Having steamboat at home. My mom bought sooo many things. My fridge's full of food. I can't even find space to squeeze in one mandarin orange. (i put it in the fridge coz i like it chilled) We invited my aunt over for the dinner tmr. Actually, my family used to go to my grandparents' (dad's side) hse for reunion dinner everytime. But they passed away 2 years ago. I kinda miss the reunion dinner with them..
Neeways, for the past few days, my mom has been asking me to clean the whole house. Pack my room and help her clear some stuff. Well, i was being lazy and didn't really help much. And she started nagging at me. Even just, she was still nagging about how lazy i was. Den she starts to drift off to other topics and continues her nagging. I've learnt to keep my mouth shut whenever she starts scolding, for the fear that a couple of words from me might trigger off another half and hour of nagging frm her. But sometimes she just doesn't know when to stop. And i really can't stand it. That was one time when she started nagging at me to pack my room, i put on my ear phones and turned on the vol full blast while i packed. Ok whatever. She's still my mom no matter what. I'll try to be hardworking and help her with the house work and do what she tells me to do without talking back.
Hai.. i have to admit. I haven't gone to church for 2 weeks. How can i do this? I mustn't drift away from God anymore. I'm having wrong priorities in my life. I pray that i will start going to church again. And i will.
Hm, Su's off to Msia for a week to visit her relatives. Will miss her.
Ok, enough confessions and complaints. It's the Lunar New Year. Hope i get loads of ang pows though. (hehehe) Here's wishing u a properous new year to all u guys out there. Have fun during this festive season ya? Hope the next couple of days will be fun.
