Tuning to: Without you (for hide) - Yoshiki

Judging from today's paper. All i can say is im just praying real hard i'll at least be able to pass.

One down, one more to go. Will go start on Eng Fund soon.

Anyway, im pleasantly surprised to find out that one of my classmates is kinda into abit of J-rock too. =) X-Japan.

X-Japan's songs are just so captivating. Especially the ballads. So heart-touching. Like 'Forever Love' and 'Tears'. You know, i hate listening to X-Japan's ballad. In fact, i try not to listen if i can. You asking what the heck? Because everytime i listen to them i'll get so emotional inside. Feels like i could cry any moment. It IS that amazing.

Yoshiki is such a talent. Just look at the lyrics he writes. All the pent up feelings inside of him and how he puts them into words. Most beautiful lyrics.

And everytime i listen to 'Forever Love' i'll be reminded of hide. Because the 1st time i heard this song was actually from watching hide's memorial service, where Yoshiki played the piano and Toshi sang it. I swear it was the most heart-broken thing to watch ever. Even then, i dint really know X-Japan but watching that clip made me so sad. hide-sama died so young.

Maybe i'm just someone who gets emotional easily. *shrugs*

Today, Chu Ying was telling me how scary she thinks X-Japan's image is. Ha. It's not scary lah my dear. Like i've said, if one is not into J-rock, you'll not appreciate stuff like this. So the best quote i can think of is, 'beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.' LOL.

Anyway, sorry 'bout the sudden blabber all about X-Japan. Ha. You might not be interested. But what the heck. I've already said it and you've already read it. =)
