I watched The Amazing Race last night. There was this particular part in the show which left me 'oh my gosh'. U know they have this 'Fast Foward' segment you can choose to use so that u can jus finish the one task given and den go straight to the pit stop before the other teams. This husband and wife team chose to use the Fast Forward as they were lagging behind.

But their worst fears came true when the task was to want them to shave their head bald as a sign of good fortune. ( they were in india) Well, it wasn't a problem for the man as he was already bald. It was the woman. The woman just took off the bandana on her head and threw it on the ground and said she was gonna do it. (they could hv go back but they hv alr wasted loads of time) Her husband was kinda shocked and he was like 'honey, u dun have to do this'. I could see that the woman was frustrated and almost in tears as she was in a dilemma. But before he could say another word the woman already knelt there and the indian man started cutting off her hair. My heart kinda squashed when i saw her crying so heart brokenly as her hair was being cut. Her husband stayed by her side and planted kisses on her cheeks and kept saying 'you look beautiful honey.' Yeah, she was shaved bald later.

In the end of course, they were the 1st team to arrive. If not that woman really made a huge sacrifice for nothing.
